16+ Years of Experience
Raised on the West Side of Chicago by a devoted single Black mother, I learned early the power of resilience, the value of education, and the importance of forging my own path. These life lessons continue to shape my work as a therapist and my commitment to supporting others with compassion and dignity.
I bring both my clinical training and lived experience into the therapy space. I’m a mother to a toddler. I’ve experienced loss. I’ve been a caregiver. I navigate this world as a Black woman. These parts of me help me understand where you are and hold space for whatever you're carrying.
I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Professional Psychology from Roosevelt University (2010). Over the past 15+ years, I’ve worked in long-term care settings, adult day programs, and community mental health. I also served as a Care Consultant for the Alzheimer’s Association, where I helped families navigate the complex realities of Alzheimer’s and dementia.
